He was talking about this new study that decaf coffee isn&#8217;t caffine free (gee,really?) and was polling his callers about their addictions &#8212; not alcohol or drugs, but anything else.\n\n\nOne caller talked about his wife &#8211; she&#8217;s addicted to Star Trek, and watches it from DVD for 4 hours every night &#8212; to the extent that if power fails, she reverts to a portable DVD player with a backup generator!\n\n\nPersonally, I&#8217;m not quite that bad.  My wife thinks I&#8217;m addicted to the computer and Anime, but I really only have one overriding obsession:  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drpepper.com\/\">Dr. Pepper<\/a>, and when I can get it, particularly <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dublindrpepper.com\/\">Dublin Dr. Pepper<\/a>, bottled in <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?f=q&#038;hl=en&#038;q=Dublin,+TX&#038;ie=UTF8&#038;z=9&#038;ll=32.477329,-97.841492&#038;spn=0.938378,2.796021&#038;om=1&#038;iwloc=A\">Dublin, Texas<\/a>, southeast of Fort Worth.  Dublin DP is made using the original formula, with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imperialsugar.com\/fw\/main\/default.asp?DocID=53\">Imperial Pure Cane Sugar<\/a> instead of corn syrup.  The real sugar makes a sweet drink, but not syrupy sweet, and I prefer to think of this drink as my personal <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ambrosia\">Nectar of the gods<\/a>. \n\n\nSo you&#8217;ve now read about my addiction&#8230;what&#8217;s yours?<br \/>\n]]><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sam Malone on KTRH radio this morning.
